And why you should include it in your Environ home-care routine!

I wanted to let you know some information on my favourite products that we offer in the salon. Some of this information may well resonate with you!

I must admit, being a beauty therapist, I used to be pretty naughty and never stuck to a skincare routine. Does this sound familiar?! I used to use whatever I felt like at the time, whether it suited my skin or not.

Since training with Environ, 2 years ago, my knowledge regarding products expanded profusely and I began using their products at home.

I started off using the Environ Starter Kit. This comes with a full size AVST 1 Moisturizer, a full size Vita Peptide Eye Gel, as well as a few other sample products. I found the Environ products so easy to use.

After cleansing and toning, I’d put the eye gel and moisturizer on, morning and night. And that was it, SO SIMPLE!

I’ve been using the products for almost 2 years now and I’ve noticed such a change in my skin. I get a lot of clients saying to me, “but you’re young, of course you’re going to have great skin”. Now this is the great thing about Environ. Yes, I may not have fine lines yet, but my skins texture wasn’t great and my skin looked dull. Since using the products, my skin is smoother and looks so glowy. 

A lot of my clients will know, if we’ve spoken about the products together, that the Environ moisturizers work in a step up system. If you've never used Environ Products before you will start on Moisturiser Number 1.

The reason for starting at level one is due to the level of Vitamin A content. (Vitamin A is the cornerstone ingredient and one that comes with a host of amazing benefits, and proven to be the most effective anti-aging ingredient on the market today.)

Your personal tolerance to Vitamin A has to be built over time to ensure effective and safe results. Once you have completed either 2 or 3 bottles of Moisturiser Number 1, you move onto Moisturiser number 2! Once you have completed 2 or 3 bottles of number 2, yep you guessed it, you move onto number 3...And so on...

As previously mentioned, I’ve been using the products for almost 2 years now. I have slightly sensitive skin, so I’ve stepped up the range a little bit slower. It's not a race. To use the correct levels of Vitamin A for you is the aim of the game! 

As of March 2020, I have completed 3 bottles of the AVST 1, and 3 bottles of the AVST 2. I am now still using number 2, BUT I have introduced the Cosmetic Roll-Cit (also known as the roller)

If you've never heard of this before, it's a Micro-Needle roller, which sounds scary but it really isn't, I promise! The roller has 0.01mm needles on it and you roll it over your skin covering the whole face and neck before putting your moisturiser on.

The purpose of using the Cosmetic Roller is to enhance the penetration of the Vitamin A. It creates tiny little holes in the skin's surface and will allow products to get to the deeper layers of the skin, enhancing your results and speeding up changes. It will also target skin tightness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and scars, assisting to achieve a more youthful appearance.

The Roller will also have to target uneven skin texture, another reason why I really wanted to start using it.  

If you're using any type of Environ moisturiser on level 2 or above, you can use the roller too! 

This is why the Cosmetic Roller, (Cosmetic Roll-Cit) is my favourite environ product and would recommend it. 

The only clients the roller wouldn't be suitable for is anyone with acne prone skin, or anyone with intense sun damage. If this is you, don’t worry, there are other products more beneficial to treat these conditions.  

The instrument can only be used in the evening and is used after cleansing and toning, before using your moisturizer.

You introduce this tool in your regime twice a week for 3-5 minutes at a time. You very slowly increase the amount of usage each week until you get to using it 5 times per week. When you roll you add mild but firm pressure. 

Since using the Cosmetic Roll-Cit, I have become even more obsessed with Environ. I’ve started to introduce more products into my routine such as the Hydrating Oil Capsules and I love them too!

I urge everyone using Environ, to invest in the Roll-Cit. I guarantee, it’ll be something that you won’t regret. Especially, when you start to see your results being boosted.

So, if you’re someone already using Environ, or someone thinking about starting a new skin routine. Have a think about adding a Roll-Cit into your routine. For heightened results and a youthful glow, it’ll be something you can’t live without. I now know I can't!
